Izabelle Allouche

 Izabelle is a dedicated Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Psychotherapist who embraces a mind-body holistic approach in her practice. She firmly believes in the interconnectedness of mental and physical health. At the core of her therapy is the therapeutic alliance, where she emphasizes the importance of building trust and providing a safe space for clients to feel truly seen and heard.

Izabelle adopts a collaborative, person-centred approach, focusing on harnessing and nurturing each client’s inner strengths and resources. Her journey with endometriosis and adenomyosis has deeply influenced her practice, inspiring her to specialize in working with chronic pain, chronic illness, and reproductive health conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, adenomyosis, menopause, andropause, fertility challenges, and dyspareunia. She demonstrates versatility in providing support across diverse areas including depression, anxiety, OCD (including harm-OCD and ROCD), narcissistic abuse, family dynamics, life purpose, existential inquiry, and other life challenges. Izabelle is also a singer-songwriter and enjoys incorporating various art forms into her practice. She believes that creative expression can help clients express themselves more freely and offers several therapeutic benefits.

Izabelle graduated from the University of Alberta with a bachelor’s in psychology and is currently completing her internship as part of her master’s in counselling under supervision in private practice.

Dedicated to providing evidence-based practices, she employs a combination of therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, somatic therapy, and strength-based therapies, among others.

Passionate about helping individuals overcome life’s difficulties, Izabelle is committed to offering a supportive and empathetic environment for healing and growth. She works diligently with her clients to achieve their therapeutic goals, develop essential skills, and uncover their strengths, enabling them to lead more fulfilling lives.
